My Background
A self-taught artist who walked away from a corporate position to pursue a creative side. By merging several talents, hobbies and interests; including sewing, quilting and stamp collecting; I have come up with a unique form of art and sculpture celebrating the postage stamp.

My Background
I take the genuine canceled postage stamps - also Vintage Trading Stamps - and either hand-stitch or cut shapes. Sometimes my designs are printed on fabric.
By taking the lead from the stamp, or collection of stamps, I am able to pursue a theme, create a design or textile. I like to challenge myself by not using the same stamp more than once in a design.

I look to merge the two worlds of art and philately by celebrating the postage stamp in a unique fashion.
Each stamp on its own is a work of art, and sadly disappearing from
our mailbox as electronic communication surpasses regular postal mail.
