While working with postage stamps, it was exciting to expand my range and re-discover Trading Stamps which have gone out of fashion
as late as the 1970's.
Various types of these vintage trading stamps have been located from across the US and incorporated into these looks.
OVEN MITT -
250 hand-stitched and quilted Vintage Top Value and S&H Trading Stamps. The back of the S&H stamps have been used to create a solid color block.
VINTAGE APRON -
Over 4,500 Trading Stamps (Top Value and 3 different S&H trading stamps) from the 1930's thru the 1960's are hand-stitched together in this iconic vintage apron pattern....with matching oven mitt.
TRADING STAMP TOTE BAG (FRONT).
Eleven (11) different trading stamps are used. The Front uses the stamps larger denomination in a zig-zag pattern.
The tote is fully lined, has an inset pocket, water-resistant bottom for stability and measures 13"H x 12"W x 4-1/2"D.
TRADING STAMP TOTE BAG (BACK).
Eleven (11) different trading stamps are used. The Back uses the stamps smaller denomination in a straight line pattern.
The tote is fully lined, has an inset pocket, water-resistant bottom for stability and measures 13"H x 12"W x 4-1/2"D.
